πΊπ¦ Days in Washington, DC are not only about official conversations and meetings with congressmen and senators.
They are about people. About those you meet for the first time β and feel as though you’ve known forever. About the honest conversations in hallways, in meeting rooms, over coffee, where everyone shares their experience, their pain, and their faith. About connections that begin with a few words β and grow into partnership, collaboration, friendship.
It was so meaningful to see how many people who care are standing close by. How different stories and different paths come together toward one shared goal β to support Ukraine. And how, in these conversations, ideas, plans, and new steps forward are born.
At the same time, these were simply beautiful moments β alive and real. When you could breathe a little, laugh, and talk not only about politics but about life. It is in moments like these that trust is born.
We had a wonderful team. I can’t wait for the next summit. For the next trip to Washington, DC. To once again be part of the Florida delegation, to meet familiar faces and see new people.
I sincerely believe: every such conversation, every meeting, every step of advocacy matters. And it brings great benefit to Ukraine.
With heartfelt thanks to the American Coalition for Ukraine and Zenon Chaikovsky. ππ
