💙💛 Destroyed cities… Lives intertwined with their history.
All of this remains in our memory, carried through us and our lives for future generations.
Sievierodonetsk is the youngest city in the Luhansk region, always one of the largest industrial, cultural, and scientific centers of Donbas. Today, we remember it with both deep sorrow and pride, as the city has suffered significant destruction due to the struggle for survival against our enemy.
Tomorrow, Sievierodonetsk would have turned 90 years old. Despite all the hardships, this city has always remained a symbol of resilience and dedication to its traditions. Among its residents are many talented individuals who have made significant contributions to the city’s development through their work and creativity.
🎨 One of these talented individuals is the artist Yulia Boyarchuk. Her art is the voice of Sievierodonetsk, its soul, and memory. Yulia has created a series of unique works on shell casings, depicting architectural monuments destroyed by Russia. Shells obtained after the occupation of Bucha became a creative attribute. Each of Yulia’s works is not just a piece of art but also an emotional response to the events taking place on our land.
Her mosaic panels at the Ice Palace, which have become symbols of resilience and hope, draw special attention. These panels show how art can become a tool for the fight for truth and the preservation of historical memory.
Through her works, Yuliya Boyarchuk conveys deep sorrow and at the same time the indomitable spirit of her native city. She reminds us that even in the toughest times, we must remember our history and cultural heritage.
Sievierodonetsk, which celebrates its 90th birthday tomorrow, remains a symbol of courage and resilience. We believe that, together with talented artists like Yulia Boyarchuk, we can rebuild our beloved destroyed cities for future generations.
🙏I am infinitely grateful to the artist and her family for their constant support, cooperation, and incredible creative achievements, which have repeatedly been donated to support our soldiers. The funds raised from the auctions of painted shell casings will be directed to support soldiers and veterans.
I present a series of photos of the painted shell casings, as well as photos marking the anniversary of the nearly completely destroyed city of Sievierodonetsk. Friends, we believe, we fight, and we hold on! Thanks to the Luchko-Boyarchuk family for their dedication on the path to Victory! And I am proud to always be able to say this alongside such people. Because it is in unity that we find our strength and power!
