Ukrainian spirit by Yaryna Levytska Corporation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to strengthen ties between the United States and Ukraine. The roots of the Ukrainian Spirit stem from Yaryna Levytska’s passion for her life in two countries, Ukraine and America. Her contributions for two years as a private individual in this effort are the inspiration for the founding of Ukrainian Spirit. 100% of donated funds are used to promote Ukrainian Spirit’s mission.
Our Mission
Ukrainian Spirit is passionate in supporting and promoting Ukraine and American awareness and cooperation. Working towards our mission Ukrainian Spirit provides services related to:
Cultural Exchange and Awareness – the exchange of Ukrainian and American culture at festivals, schools, churches, knowledge exchange between Ukrainian and American professions and participation in national teams in international athletic competitions. These activities are organized by Ukrainian Spirit, supported in partnership with peer organizations and as volunteers to other organizations.
Wounded Veterans – Ukrainian Spirit supports rehabilitation of injured soldiers in America, mental and physical, to smoothly assimilate veterans back into society and lead
productive rewarding lives. Ukrainian Spirit supports the day to day functions of rehabilitating veterans and activities to engage them socially and physically. The organization is actively involved in supporting wounded veterans in Olympic style competitions held multiple times each year and is campaigning to raise funds to purchase competitive rugby wheelchairs for the Ukrainian team.
Refugees in the USA – support the mental and physical assimilation of refugees into life in America including mentoring of children.
Financial and physical support of Ukrainian orphanages and animal shelters impacted by the war.
