On the day we celebrated the 35th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, our Ukrainian community in Orlando and Ukrainian Spirit by Yaryna Levytska had the great honor of receiving two official Proclamations and a Tribute from our distinguished guests: representatives of state and local government.
We sincerely thank the Florida State Representative Anna V. Eskamani, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, and Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings for their recognition and support of Ukraine and our community. We also express our gratitude to our guests from the office of the Congressman of the 10th District Maxwell Alejandro Frost and the office of the Congressman of the 9th District Darren Soto.
A heartfelt thank you as well for the wishes for Ukraine that our guests left on the traditional Ukrainian embroidered towel (rushnyk)!
